Elysium is a next-generation third-person mmorpg featuring a seamless open world, multiplayer gameplay, survival mechanics, crafting systems, AI companions, and player-driven progression; created by Mercenary Games, Elysium combines the best elements of mmorpgs, rpgs, open-world adventures, strategy games, and social multiplayer experiences into a living universe shaped by both players and artificial intelligence. Explore vast lands, discover hidden secrets, build your legacy, participate in large-scale events, develop professions, engage in trade, battle powerful enemies, and influence the evolving world around you.
Story
In the Elysium Game universe, the world once known as the mortal realm has fractured into a vast open-world tapestry of floating continents, sunken ruins, radiant cities, and untamed wilds. After the Great Ascension — a cataclysm that fused reality with a higher plane — every living soul was offered a single chance to rise: to become an Ascendant of Elysium. You awaken as one of the newly Ascended. The gods are silent, ancient factions war over relics of the old world, and the boundary between artificial intelligence and spirit has grown thin.
